DoDEA is a federal school system based in Alexandria, Virginia that plans, directs, coordinates, and manages educational programs for prekindergarten to 12th grade for the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Currently, DoDEA operates 163 accredited schools in 8 districts located in 11 countries, 7 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
